Additionally, many consumers of Pharmanex products are turning to nutritionists and other healthcare practitioners to become more educated on the importance of supplement usage. In response to both these trends, Pharmanex now provides product information and support uniquely tailored to the healthcare professional community.

The Pharmanex® Health Professionals Committee (or HPC) advises Pharmanex on issues related to dietary supplements and the health industry. Current members of this newly-formed committee include HPC Chairman Bas Nair, M.D., P.A., F.A.A.P.; L. Kathleen Mahan, M.S., R.D., C.D.E.; Bernd Wollschlaeger, M.D., F.A.A.F.P.; and Judith A. Ingalls, M.D.

Among many of the responsibilities of the HPC, members will provide counsel and support on issues relating specifically to the intersection of the health and nutritional supplement industries. They will also provide counsel on business trends in the health professional industry that align with Pharmanex's business objectives and offer peer-to-peer product technical support to health professionals.

The Pharmanex HPC represents a broad spectrum of health professionals from different areas of expertise in the healthcare industry. Members of the HPC are licensed health professionals who support the integration of dietary supplements in a comprehensive health management program.
