January 20, 2005 — From its inception, Pharmanex has gathered the best scientists in the industry to make the best nutritional supplements on earth. Nutritional science is very complex and multidisciplinary in nature. No one scientist can know everything about it, much less how to combine ingredients into viable supplements. Only a large, diverse team can rise to the challenge of successfully grappling with all the complexities.
Today, under the leadership of President Joseph Chang, Ph.D., Pharmanex boasts more than 125 full-time scientists, three state-of-the-art laboratories, and a global scientific research network unmatched in the industry.
These 125+ scientists comprise an expanded, global view of the in-house scientific resources available within Pharmanex, including R&D, Chemistry, Quality Control/Quality Assurance, Clinical Pharmacology, Raw Material Sourcing, the Pharmanex® BioPhotonic Scanner scientists, and Global Product Support. This team has obtained dozens of patents, presented at many scientific meetings, and published scores of scientific papers in internationally recognized journals. Most importantly, millions of people in more than 30 countries now experience the benefits of an extensive line of the finest nutritional products available.
As part of our 125+ in-house scientists, Pharmanex is pleased to have 50+ staff scientists working in Mainland China. In addition, we have 44 R&D scientists in the United States and 30+ regional science staff in Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Europe. Pharmanex scientists isolate active natural compounds, analyze how they work in the body, and test products for purity, safety and consistency. They conduct original research and review published clinical and scientific studies to identify natural products that may have health-promoting properties.
Having scientists throughout the world allows Pharmanex to use the best scientific resources from each culture to create world-class products. This, along with many other qualities, sets us apart as the Measurable Difference.
