Prof. Ho Cheol Shin, M.D, Ph.D. received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Seoul National University and holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Epidemiology. He was Secretary General of the Korea Academy of Family Medicine and is actively taking a role as President in the Korean Academy of Patient Education. Dr. Shin has been a Professor at the University of SungKyunKwan, School of Medicine and chair of department of Family Medicine & International Clinic Kangbuk Samsung Hospital. He was also awarded MSD Korea Awards in Family Medicine in 1994 and 1995. His current research and papers are focusing on chronic fatigue syndromes and obesity.
