The Challenges

Challenge Criteria
Find out how each product fares with the following LifePak Challenge Criteria:

  1. Uses exclusively natural vitamin E.
  2. Provides at least 50% of the RDIs as recommended by the National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for adult men and women for all vitamins and minerals except electrolytes, phosphorus, iron, selenium and protein.
  3. Uses antioxidant nutrients in the following dose ranges: vitamin E 100-400 IU, vitamin C 200-500 mg, betacarotene 3-6 mg, selenium 26 mg.
  4. Uses the following amounts of B-group vitamins involved in homocysteine metabolism: folate 200 mcg, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 2.4 mcg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 1.5 mg.
  5. Uses bone nutrients in the following dose ranges: calcium 500-1500 mg, magnesium 210-700 mg, cholecalciferol (vitamin D) 5-20 mcg, phytomenadione (vitamin K) 40 mcg.
  6. Provides at least 6 mg carotenoids: lutein, lycopene, betacarotene, rutin.
  7. Provides at least 20 mg of dietary flavonoids: soya bean equiv, seed 6.67 g equiv isoflavones, grape seed equiv 250 g equiv procyanidins, bioflavonoids, other flavonoids.
  8. Uses organic salts and amino acid chelates for zinc, iron, copper, chromium and manganese.
